FRIENDS OF THE CONCORD LIBRARY

The Friends of the Concord Library is an organization dedicated to improving library services in Concord. Through membership donations and Book Sale earnings, the League provides the library with books, tapes, magazines, and compact discs. We also provide children's and cultural programs for the community.

PRESCHOOL PROGRAM

The Concord Parks and Recreation District offers a preschool program which is a positive first school experience for the young child. They offer programs for two, three, and four year-olds. Throughout these early years the children will:

  • Develop listening skills

  • Develop social skills

  • Gain confidence and self-esteem

  • Learn academics through play

  • Take turns and follow directions
